of Public Review and Comment
The Bi-State Metropolitan Planning
Organization, BSMPO, has prepared the Fiscal Year 2007 Annual
List of Obligated Projects for the Fort Smith Urban Area.
This list identifies all the transportation improvement projects,
funded entirely or in part by the US Department of Transportation,
that were obligate between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007.
The publication of and public review period for the Annual
List of Obligated Projects is a requirement of Federal Highway
Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. Copies
of the Annual List of Obligated Projects can be found at
the BSMPO offices located at 1109 South 16th Street n Fort
Smith or DOWNLOAD

be from January 4th through January 17th. Any questions or

Welcome to WAPDD
Welcome to the Western
Arkansas Planning and Development District website. Established
in 1966 as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, WAPDD serves
the western Arkansas six-county area of Crawford, Franklin, Logan,
Polk, Scott and Sebastian. Our organization's name reflects what
we do -- assist western Arkansas communities with the planning
for and development of local and regional programs and projects.
Working closely with city and county governments,
WAPDD offers an array of technical assistance and management
services. These relate to community and economic development,
solid waste management, census information and population data,
911 mapping and addressing, geographic information systems,
work force development, and transportation planning. For information
