Western Arkansas Planning and Development (WAPDD) serves six Western Arkansas counties including Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Polk,Sebastian and Scott.
Our individual sections work in the areas of Solid Waste, Census Information, Community Development, 911 Addressing & Mapping, Work Force Development and Transportation Planning.
While we are primarily a planning tool for local governments much of the information we develop is interesting and useful to the general public. For instance, we are the primary source for Emergency 911 addressing and mapping. If you are developing a rural property for a home or business we can help you get an officially recognized address for emergency response services.
We are also heavily involved in solid waste and hazardous waste disposal issues. We can help answer your waste disposal questions ranging from brush, limbs and yard waste to old tires and dead batteries.
We may also be able to help you with census and other demographic type information for the counties we serve. We work with six Western Arkansas counties including Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Polk, Sebastian and Scott.
